I'm going to be honest and clear.

Being a CI, your first priority is the cadets welfare.
let me get this clear for anyone reading this blog and I hope it will help you realise.

When it comes to welfare, the first thing you need to do is learn to look after yourself.
if you cant do that, dont take care of them.

When it comes to discipline, you have to uphold the highest level.
If you cant discipline yourself, you cant scold them.

When it comes to teaching, you have to be able to learn from your cadets.
If you cant learn from those below you, you cant teach.

When it comes to facing difficulties, YOU NEED TO KEEP A COOL HEAD.
IF YOU CANT KEEP A COOL HEAD,

THOSE BELOW YOU SUFFER

I cannot stress the importance of this any further.
This is purely one of the few reasons for my big disappointment over our annual camp and Games day.

Failure to keep a calm and collected spirit will only ensue in chaos.

I apologise for anyone hoping to get a good post out of this blog today after what has been a great week with my area8 CIs and poly friends and I sure hoped to blog about them especially after last night.

But if there's one thing that can distract me, its my duty to those young ones who are donning the uniform.

And now its the breaking point.
They're losing discipline, being rude, not learning everything we've taught them, being lazy, taking things for granted, wasting time and worse still, unable to see the goodness of all the hardships that they are being put through.

We're the only gold unit in area 8 but that doesnt mean a thing. To me, the other area8 units are doing better than US and we could do with taking a leaf out of their books.

And I've slacked to the point of DECADENCE!

Therefore, in the upcoming weeks, I'm going to do all that I can for my NPAP supporting contingent, my area CIs, my unit cadets and unit CIs.

And nothing is going to stand in the way of its progress. Not BD, not Sara and least of all, NOT YOU!
