A few days ago, Farith asked me why I decided to join NPAP again this year after participating last year.

Some would say it's about the position you get. But to me, its the contribution you make and the substantial amount of things you've learnt. THAT is what truly matters most to me.

THAT is what makes this parade so meaningful to me. Its neither the allocation I get nor the uniform that I get to wear. But what I've done with my time and I'm proud to say this..

It hasnt gone to waste. not one bit =)

NPCC Annual Parade 2009. What a memorable experience.
To put the whole event into words would not do it justice but I hope to inspire anyone of you reading this to come join the next NPAP.

People often say how boring it is to travel all the way from tampines to choa chu kang, stand in the hot sun, have long debriefs and so on but believe me when I say it was all worth it. Every single moment of it.

Looking at all the photos, I feel immensely proud that I was a part of the parade. whether it was big or small.

After you go through months of training, people will look at you and see in your eyes what you've done. And it shows. Me and Hongliang may not be the best people for the job but we put our heart and soul into the parade everytime. And after months of training, it all comes down to this moment to define 4 months of training.

And what a moment!

Thanks to Iliee and Siti Suria for the support though I didnt manage to see either of you after the parade! *shucks!*
Thank you to all the FIs,HOs and fellow CIs who made this a wonderful learning experience for me and making the event a real success. You guys are wonderful.

I hope to see you guys again next year! Be it as spectators or parade trainers. Dont forget ah Siti Suria. One year from now!
