Because I am the orbiting moon
You will always remain as Earth

Here's something I'd like to show any fellow npcc CIs or cadets.
I was browsing through my fellow NPAP CIA buddy Hongliang's blog and found a blog post with SYFOC 2006 video montages.
Go take a look at it here. I hope the same sentiments I feel right now will run into you as well. And if you're for a rekindling of passion, the videos will definitely help.
Go see it here.

As I was on my usual routine of late night cycling by the pond (hoping to complete that YEAR LONG RESEARCH OF MINE!), the thought of going to Hanoi, Vietnam crossed my mind.
What are the implications of spending TWO MONTHS away? A good chance to test my level of independence in a totally new urban environment. In other words, testing the level of booksmart n being more streetsmart.
I'm more worried bout my loved ones though. Whose gonna do the housework? HAHAHA! I CAN IMAGINE MY SISTER'S CRESTFALLEN FACE WHEN SHE SEES THE PILE OF CLOTHES TO LIPAT! On a more serious note, I already feel very apprehensive about leaving them. The same few questions everyone would ask, I would definitely ask myself when away.
Who's gonna look after them? Are they gonna get through all right? How will they manage? and so on and so forth.
Call this sentimental but compare OSIP to NS. OSIP you get 3 other people to stick with for two months. NS, you make more friends as you go along. OSIP you come back two months later. NS you come back every weekend provided you dont get sent to DB.
And the most worrying thing is the mode of communication available in Hanoi. Imagine if I dont get Internet there? write postcards to singapore!?! nice!
As this post continues, there's a feeling of longing to see EVERYONE even ili, susu and siti suria whom I just met yesterday!..which reminds me, I should be grateful that the duration is NOT 5 months unlike iliee's osip!.
Wonder how she's gonna manage.....
I'll be back when you call me; no need to say goodbye
In the words of another
If we were all the kings and queens
I'd probably be your only servant in this world
